Remember:  fleece that never gets turned into a product undermines our alpaca industry. Many fine alpaca products can be purchased at our annual Open House which for 2010 will be held on September 25 and 26, 2010. We will again be offering all things alpaca, Canadian, North American and Peruvian. They will include handknits from Split Rock's own animals plus bed pillows, throws, duvets, blankets, women's and men's clothing, children's wear, huge supply of socks, mitts, scarves, purses, tote bags, hats and yarn, rovings and felt (mixes of Split Rock alpacas, cashmere, bamboo, silk and merino). Come pay us a visit. Additionally, we plan to open our seasonal store "The Alpaca Habit" during the month of December --- dates and times yet to be determined ! Additionally, please keep an eye open for our "On Line Store" coming to this page in 2010. It will be chock full of beautiful and stylish "one-of-a-kind" alpaca items for all you fashionistas out there ---- many will be made from Split Rock's own fleece. We will be offering pure alpaca articles, as well as alpaca blended with bamboo, wool, soy silk and silk. These blended combinations can also be found in both yarn and apparel alike.
